A note of interest:
Even though these German women did everything in their power to help their
Jewish husbands to be released from the Gestapo, these going ons also took
place in other parts of Europe. Speaking from experience, my mother went to
the Gestapo with me in Brussels on numerous occasions to secure the release
of my father. Our closest friends, whose wife being Catholic did the same in
Prague for her Jewish husband.
Rosenstrasse which I saw in Germany is an excellent film.
